Textiles In India.

The modern textile laboratory specifically assesses the features relevant to the end user, like diverse kinds of fastness and pollutant content of various textiles (terry cloth, plush and velour, velvet or upholstery fabrics). Here a variety of different tests on standards are used.

Fibers, Yarns and Threads, in that order, are the most basic requirements of the Textile Industry. Different kinds of fibers are used as raw materials to make yarns and threads. These yarns and threads are then used for manufacturing finished textile goods.

The government is likely to offer incentives on exports of labour-intensive items and reward exporters who diversify into new markets as part of a slew of measures to revive the country's flailing export sector.
